Youth With A Mission
YWAM Recife is where we first started our journey here in Brazil. We worked in a Boys home, on the streets and completed the YWAM schoolof Children at Risk (CAR). It was through YWAM where we met another 2 families who also felt the need to open a shelter which would accomodate girls in need of protection, which at the time was not happening in our state.
With Open Arms
Founded in 2015, With Open Arms was started by the three families who saw the need for a wider provision for vulnerable children in the area where they were working. The charity works closely with the local government and was the only facility available to shelter girls, babies, young boys or siblings in the municipality of Camaragibe.
