Rain hampered our bricklaying one afternoon so we hid in the Wendy house!!

we put together some steels for the foundations and columns then we poured the foundations then we built some walls then we built some more walls (90 square meters) then we put some steels in for the first beams check out the shanty platform!! and just wait until I post some pictures of the scaffolding we are using. Building a supporting wall is a whole load of work!! Laura is working too but I haven't taken any photos of what she is doing!!! but I assure you she has been working!!

A Blind snake, it only tried to bite me when I touched it!! about 60cm long. just looked on line and found out that it is in fact a worm lizard!!

Acai is a lovely fruit that makes an even lovelier desert which involves milk powder, condensed milk, granola, bananas, and frozen acai berrys!! On a bad day, the thought of it truly carrys us through!! The postal strike here has finished so we can receive post!!! thanx Heath!!!!

Today we met our Portuguese teacher, she seems nice, although she's very flamboyant expressing her self, which is useful as she speaks no English.

we are going to a churascaria which involves eating as much bbqed meat as we can!!!
