Today we picked up our passports with the visas!!! We also saw some cool adverts for Brazil.

Laura's parents ventured down south to enjoy the sun Laura cooked some cup cakes!! yummm. we had fun trying on shades we also went to Richmond park where we saw some deer. Monday we returned up north and had a slap up (Christmas) dinner at Frankie and Bennie's. Tuesday I cooked 'beer can chicken' (in homage to the Scottish, American, Swedes!!)

We are on our way!! plane tickets booked and everything!! but what are we going to be doin?????? well the training we where going to be starting with has been cancelled, so we are going to start by working with YWAM Recife with there Restoration project which includes detached work, prevention, and residential care. we are Very excited about what we are going to be involved with!! I'm sure as we get stuck in we'll give you a fuller picture of what we will be up to!! Then hopefully in April we will do the training.

7 years ago today I almost died on my mountain bike. big toe still hurts!! how time flies when your having fun.

Yesterday we got the call that our visas got approved!! Today we went to the consulate to hand in our passports in 5 days we return to the consulate to pick up our passports with the visas in them!!!

We are still working on getting into brazil so we thought we would make a video of some of the stuff we have been up to.

W ell we are at the 3 week mark today (as in "your visa will take anything from three weeks to three months") so we are expecting a phone call or email soon! we are still in Sutton although Tony is helping out some friends in Scotland and I just had a lovely quick visit to Austria to see my good friends Amy and Daniel. Please keep praying (if you do) that everything would happen in Gods timing and for His peace. We are both quite at peace now (after a few weeks frustration with God changing our plans!) but it is a struggle sometimes to remember to give over everything to God. Romans 8:28 The Message (MSG) Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God's Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don't know how or what to pray, it doesn't matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God.
